The site was being considered for construction of telecommunications equipment to comprise site amenities, transformers and generators as part of a Business Park development.
D&N were engaged to undertake a geo-environmental investigation to provide preliminary discussion relating to possible geotechnical and environmental opportunities and constraints, on behalf of the project principle (NBN).
The assessment indicated upper surface soils comprised of fill, which will require management during construction. Further, the underlying natural soils were on high plasticity, which will require consideration as part of pavement and footing construction.
