The Capital Battery is a 100MW stand-along batter capable of storing up to 200MWh of energy, with up to 2 hours of power in the reserve. The batter will provide a predictable supply of energy to the grid through its ability to dispatch energy during peak times of demand.
D&N were engaged to carry out a geotechnical construction support and earthworks supervision during the early site development.
The site presented multiple geotechnical challenges, including the presence of moisture affected soils across the footprint. D&N provided a suitably experienced geotechnical site engineer and project manager, to ensure the project remained on schedule.
